SUZA NO.6 : Hybrid Bt cotton, middle-maturity. Got released in 2008. In Mar 2009, WUHAN GCBT got the sole distribution right(including production) in Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi and Henan Province.
The plant type is compact, the plant height is 109 cm, the stem is thick, the fruit branches are long and flat, the leaves are medium-sized and light green, the first fruit branch is 6.1 knots, the bell is oval shape, the spit is smooth, and the planting single bell is 6.5-7.5grama when palnting in Hubei, the lint percentage is 40.8%, the 100 cotton seed weight is 10.4 grams, and the pre-frost flower rate is 94.6%.
Tolerance to wilt and verticillium wilt, high resistance to cotton bollworm and red bollworm; average length of upper half of HVICC fiber is 30.3 mm, breaking strength is 29.4 cN/tex, micronaire value is 5.1, elongation at break is 6.6% The reflectance is 76.1%, the yellow depth is 8.0, the uniformity index is 85.3%, and the spinning uniformity index is 145.
Production performance: In 2007-2009, the yield was generally 350-400kg per mu(4800kg-6000kg/ha) when planting in Hubei. In the high-yield field the farmer got yield of 600kg per mu(9000kg/ha) of seed cotton. In 2007-2008, the output of the two consecutive years was ranked No. 1.
