On September 5, 2020, entrusted by the rice professional group of the National Crop Variety Approval Committee, the experts of the rice professional group of the Hubei Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee conducted the inspection and guidance on  the national rice regional test and production test in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Hubei Province regional test work undertaken by our company.

     The inspection team conducted a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the experimental settings, field management, observation records and other aspects through listening to the test report and field inspections.

     They satisfied that our conditions are good, the test layout is standardized, the field fertilizer and water management is properly controlled, and the variety is growing normally. And provided guidance and requirements for later work. The ability of our company have been affirmed by the expert group. The experts also visited and inspected more than 100 new rice varieties independently selected and bred by our company, and praised the performance and breeding level of our company on new varieties.

     This test site (Hubei Jianli) is a specialized and standardized ecological test site of rice varieties constructed in accordance with the requirements of China commercialized rice breeding system, with a total area of 220mu(15ha in total). It is the only base in the Company that undertaking the scanning test and the field test at same time. 

     It is mainly responsible for the yield, disease resistance, stress resistance, agronomic traits, and quality testing and identification tasks of the company self-bred and introduced new rice varieties, as well as the national rice regional test and production test in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the regional test in Hubei Province. More than 2,000 varieties are tested and identified each year, and the most advanced and outstanding new varieties of rice are gathered here, which is also a demonstration of the level of domestic rice breeding. The test content includes screening test, product comparison test, production test, resistance identification, cultivation test and new variety planting display .
